Abortion: An End-time Challenge for Christians

Part 1 – God’s view of life according to Scriptures

Abortion is a divisive issue which defines political thought and matters of faith. This topic will be controversial for some readers. Please read this and the following newsletter(s). Write, if you disagree with me. If you are pregnant and are considering an abortion OR if you have had an abortion and experience shame, guilt, or depression, PLEASE read next week’s newsletter. People in your community can help you by informing you of life-affirming alternatives to abortion and sharing God’s love and grace. God loves you. He wants to restore you to fullness of life and the joy of being His beloved daughter. Don’t bear your burdens alone. Jesus stands ready to help you now (Matthew 11:28-30): [Jesus said] “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

INTRODUCTION: I had not planned to write a newsletter about abortion. Because of the shooting death of abortionist George Tiller in Kansas a few weeks ago and the backlash against those who hold pro-life views, I wish to present a sample of Scriptures and a few comments regarding human life. Pro-life advocates, who are among the most loving and gentle people I know, are being demeaned for their beliefs. Two examples are: the U.S. Department of Homeland Security lists pro-life advocates as “right wing extremists,” who should be watched for potential terrorist activities by law-enforcement officers; and seemingly reputable news organizations opine that the “Tiller murder is terrorism, and all pro-life extremists are to blame.”

Interestingly, the media and millions of Americans express concerns about Tiller’s death, but show no concern that this man, by his own admission, aborted (killed) more than 60-thousand unborn babies and was one of the few abortionists performing partial-birth abortions.

I regret that Tiller was killed. I would prefer that he lived, followed Jesus Christ as an obedient servant, repented of his role as an abortionist, and spoke in defense of life, as some persons in the abortion business have done.

Am I veering too far from end-time prophecy topics? Well, I see a connection between abortion and end-time behavior. Paul’s oft-quoted warning of “perilous times in the last days” (2 Timothy 3:1-5) presents some features of people who defy Godly principles of living. In verse 3, Paul cites one end-time characteristic of such people as those without natural affection (King James Version). Is there any greater loss of “natural affection” than a mother who willfully kills her child? Most females of higher animal orders protect and defend their young, even if such defense costs the death of the mothers. In abortion, “natural affection” is abandoned. Jesus and Bible authors warned of veering from faith (apostasy), as the end of the age approaches. If the Bible affirms life, abortion– especially the promotion of abortion– is an example of apostasy. Choosing to abort an unborn baby for convenience (as another method of birth control) is contrary to the Bible’s teachings and natural affection. Many apathetic pastors and church congregants choose to ignore abortion, even though abortion clinics exist in their communities and women sitting in their church pews suffer from post-abortion syndrome.

As a retired physician and a Christian, I am grieved by the widespread use of abortion, which is commonly practiced as just another birth control option. As a pathologist, I examined many unborn babies during my career. These babies ranged from pinhead to full-term in size. I always marveled at the complex intricacies that Creator God places in each human, even from the moment of conception.

If you are a pro-abortion reader, you may cancel your subscription to this newsletter because I write about this topic. I must state what I believe can be gleaned from the Word of God and what God places on my heart. I answer to Him, not any man or woman. All I ask is this: read the Scriptures.. If you feel I am offensive and wrong, please contact me. I will carefully consider and respond respectfully to your views. As a political conservative, I believe in complete freedom of all speech. I will not be offended by your speech, even if your views contradict mine, as hopefully you will not be offended by my speech. A casualty of "politically correct speech" is the censored interchange and consideration of diverse ideas.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TEACH ABOUT LIFE? A Christian should follow God’s written word, rather than mankind's opinions if such opinions deviate from the Bible. A few pertinent Scriptures follow:

Who are we? We humans are created in God’s very image, an image which possesses an eternal, spiritual component. To kill a human being casually is to show ultimate disrespect and lack of love for God.

** The Bible begins by telling us who we are (Genesis 1:1, 26a-27a): In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. |...| Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;...." So God created man in His own image;....

** God intended us to multiply within a family setting (Genesis 1:28a): Then God blessed [the male and female He created], and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply;...." AND (Genesis 2:24): Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and become joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

What does it mean to be created in God's image? God is an eternal, spiritual Being. To be created in God's image is to possess an eternal, spiritual component. Because our spirit our soul is eternal, we are akin to God as is no other creature.

** Paul emphasized man’s relationship to God our Creator (Acts 17:25, 28): [Paul said] “Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath and all things. |…| ...for in Him we live and move and have our being,... 'For we are also His offspring.'”

** John marveled at the love God has for His children (1 John 3:1-2a): Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God!.... Beloved, now we are children of God;....

God has plans for every person, even before birth. Scriptures indicate that people are so important to God that He plans every person’s life, even before birth. The following Scriptures provide examples of God’s plans for the future of Jacob, Esau, Isaiah, Jesus, and John the Baptizer, before they were born. God planned for you before your birth, and He would have plans for the millions of babies being killed annually in abortion clinics throughout the world!

** PLANS FOR JACOB AND ESAU– (Genesis 25:22-23, concerning the two nations to come from the jostling twins, Esau and Jacob, in Rebekah’s womb): But the children struggled together within her, and she said, “If all is well, why am I this way?” So she went to inquire of the LORD. And the LORD said to her: “Two nations are in your womb; two peoples shall be separated from your body; one people shall be stronger than the other, and the older shall serve the younger.” Paul commented on this Scripture in Romans 9:10-13.

** PLANS FOR JESUS– (Isaiah 49:1b, 5a, a prophecy about Jesus the Messiah): “… The LORD has called Me from the womb; from the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name…. |…| And now the LORD says, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant….” AND (Matthew 1:18b, 20b-21): … After His [Jesus’] mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found of child of the Holy Spirit. |…| … [The Holy Spirit told Joseph in a dream] “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for what is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you will call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” AND  (Luke 1:35-36a): And the angel answered and said to [Mary], “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son [John the Baptizer] in her old age;.…” AND (Luke 2:21): And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

** PLANS FOR JOHN THE BAPTIZER– (Luke 1:44-45): [Elizabeth said to Mary] “For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe [John the Baptizer] leaped in my womb for joy. Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

God knows and loves each of us from the beginning of creation.

** (Psalm 139:13-16): For You have formed my inward parts; You have covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed, and in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.

** (Jeremiah 1:4-5a): Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you;….”

We humans are special to God the Father.

** Jesus taught us that we are special children of God, a God who cares about and knows the minutest details about us (Matthew 10:30): [Jesus said] “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

** Isaiah and Paul marveled at our creation by God, the giver of all life: (Isaiah 42:5): Thus says God the LORD, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it:…. AND (Acts 17:25b): “… [God] gives us all life, breath, and all things.”

Children are a gift from God. No matter how much a pregnancy may be unplanned and inconvenient, the unborn child is a gift– a gift given for a reason, even though the reason may not be readily apparent at the time of the pregnancy.

** (Psalm 127:3): Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is His reward.

God forbids the shedding of innocent blood.

** (Exodus 20:1, 13): And God spoke all these words, saying: |…| “You shall not murder.” This is one of the Ten Commandments given by God through Moses to the Israelites (and to us). The Hebrew word used here, ratsach, denotes an intentional, pre-meditated taking of human life– murder. (This commandment is often erroneously quoted, “You shall not kill,” which is a mistranslation of the Hebrew text.) Abortion is an intentional, premeditated taking of life. Paul used this as one of five commandments to illustrate the commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Romans 13:9), explaining that anyone who loves his/ her neighbor will not harm that neighbor. (In other words, a mother should not harm her child.)

** (Exodus 21:22- 23): “If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no lasting harm follows, [the men may be punished by the husband and judges]. But if any lasting harm follows, then you shall give life for life,…” This law given by God to the Israelites clearly demonstrates that God considers the life of an unborn child equal to that of a person of any age after birth, and even worthy of the death penalty.

** (Exodus 23:7b): “… do not kill the innocent and the righteous. For I will not justify the wicked.” God considers the killing of an innocent person to be a wicked act. Is there any person more innocent than an unborn baby?

** (Psalm 31:15): My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. Might this be a prayer an unborn baby might utter, if able to speak, as he or she is ready to be killed by an abortionist?

** (Proverbs 6:16, 17c): There are six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: |…| [one of which is] hands that shed innocent blood,… Stated once again, the most innocent persons are unborn babies, and shedding their blood is hated by God. If you work in an abortion clinic, find another job immediately!

Jesus loves and protects children.

** (Matthew 18:6): [Jesus said] “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believes in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Similar verses are recorded in Mark 9:42 and Luke 17:2. Although Jesus spoke here of causing children to sin, surely His love and protection would extend to danger posed to unborn children.

“My body, my choice.”

Abortion-minded women frequently argue that they have complete control over their bodies, and no man or government should have any input into whether an abortion may be performed. Such argument overlooks two truths: (1) the pregnant woman disregards any choice that her unborn baby might express (not to mention any choices of the father and grandparents); and (2) God tells us that her body– and anything in that body– belongs to Him, as shown in the following Scriptures:

** (Romans 12:1): I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

** (1 Corinthians 3:16-17): Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

** (1 Corinthians 6:18-20): Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Science and man’s law are not our ultimate life choices..

** Scientists and politicians advance theories concerning the time human life begins. I am convinced that a new human life begins at that miraculous moment when an ovum (egg) from the mother is fertilized by a spermatozoon from the father. At that split second, an event purposed and planned in the mind of Creator God, a new human is formed– a human who is unique and irreplaceable in every way. I believe any age for the beginning of human life later than conception is nonsensical sophistry and is offered only to justify abortion. Abortion advocates know that to accept the obvious (a new life is created at the moment of conception) would create a legal dilemma– whether abortion is an act of homicide. Designation of the moment human life begins is a matter of faith, not a matter of science. When “science” contradicts the Word of God, accept only the Word of God (1 Timothy 6:20-21a): O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and vain babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge– by professing it, some have strayed concerning the faith. Although we are all indebted to advances made by scientists, some issues involve faith, not scientific opinions. The time human life begins is a matter of faith, not scientific conclusion because scientific principles cannot be applied to study the question. Follow God’s instructions for your life, not a scientist’s opinion. God’s Word is eternal and unchanging, whereas scientific views frequently change. “Knowledge,” quoted here in the New King James Version, translates the Greek gnosis, and, interestingly, is translated “science” in the King James Version.

** God’s law, as recorded in the Bible, supersedes man’s law (Acts 5:29): Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” If there ever is a conflict, God’s eternal and perfect law should be followed, rather than man’s temporary and flawed law.

Okay... what about? Pro-abortion advocates always raise the same argumentative questions. I will present data in the next newsletter to show that most abortions are not performed to address these issues, but serve only as another birth control measure. Does the Bible give any guidelines to answer these admittedly troubling questions?

What about a pregnancy resulting from rape or incest? No question tugs at the heart more than an unfortunate woman who has been impregnated through rape or incest. I have no answer for these pregnancies which will satisfy all readers, but I offer two Scriptures for consideration:

** (Ezekiel 18:20): [The LORD said] “The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.” Is it right to kill an unborn baby because of the sin of his or her father?

** (Genesis 50:20): [Joseph said to his brothers who had wronged him] “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” This Scripture may be difficult for a woman impregnated through rape or incest to understand. I have talked and listened to and read accounts of people who were conceived under shameful, sinful circumstances, but whose mothers chose life. They are today productive, happy adults, who are grateful that their mothers chose to travel the hard road to give them life, rather than taking the easy road to abort them.

What about medical conditions? The worldview is that only babies as perfect as possible deserve to be born. Governor Sarah Palin (Alaska governor, vice presidential candidate in 2008) has been completely vilified by the liberal media and entertainers. Governor Palin made three political mistakes: (1) she is a political conservative, an intolerable choice for women or blacks (they must be liberal to be accepted); (2) she supported her daughter, who delivered a child out of wedlock, rather than insisting upon abortion; and (3) she gave birth to a child, whom she knew would have Down’s syndrome, rather than choosing abortion.

With modern obstetrical care, medical conditions requiring abortion are rare. A woman considering abortion for a medical condition should ask for a second obstetrical opinion and, then, decide the better course of action for her after prayer and discussion with her family. I am pro-life, but I can understand a decision for abortion, if there is clear evidence that a continued pregnancy might result in death of or irreparable harm to the mother. A mother has responsibilities to her family that may supersede giving birth to another child. These are most difficult questions to resolve, but fortunately are rare.

Do not pollute the land with the blood of innocent persons.

Shedding innocent blood defiles a nation: God clearly warns a nation not to defile itself by shedding the blood of innocent persons (Numbers 35:33-34): [The LORD gave Moses a message for His people] “’So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed upon it, except by the blood of him who shed it. Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.’” America and other nations kill unborn babies by the millions each year. Unborn babies, who have never as much as drawn a breath, much less sinned in any manner, are the most innocent among us. Recently, a dog-fighting ring was uncovered in the heartland of America. Many persons were outraged that pit bull terriers fought to the death, but there is always silence that far more unborn babies are killed by abortion.

Molech worship– a type of behavior to avoid: You may disagree with this example, but consider the following: Several Old Testament passages condemn and warn against child sacrifice to the Canaanite/ Ammonite god, Molech (example: Leviticus 18:21a): [The LORD said] “And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech….” The Israelites encountered pagan tribes which regularly sacrificed their infants and toddlers by “passing them through the fire.” A metal statue of Molech was heated to a great temperature. Living children were placed in the god’s arms to slide into the fire in the belly– of course, dying a horrible death. Sacrificing a child to Molech was thought to bring happiness to the people. The LORD demanded the harshest of treatment for any Israelite who would join in sacrifices to Molech (Leviticus 20:2-5). Ancient people sacrificed children (through Molech) for personal happiness. Modern people sacrifice children (through abortion) for personal happiness. The majority of abortions are performed because a pregnancy is inconvenient (job, school, socializing with friends, etc.). Relatively few abortions are required for medical reasons, rape, or incest.

Death of children– a tragedy for the nation: Herod’s killing of male infants in an attempt to kill the Christ child fulfilled a prophecy of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:15) and told us a nation should weep for her children who die (Matthew 2:17-18, after Herod’s slaughter of the male infants): Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying: “A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they were no more.” Sadly, America does not weep for the more than one-million unborn babies killed each year in abortion clinics.

It should be God who decides when death occurs: God, Creator of life, should determine when that life ends (Job 12:10): In whose [God’s] hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Brief summary– arguments to justify abortion, and the Biblical view of life (paraphrased).

In next week’s newsletter, I will have more to say about pro-life Scriptures. (I have only quoted a sample of pertinent Scriptures.) In closing this newsletter, I wish to provide a thumbnail sketch of pro-abortionists’ arguments and how the Bible counters such arguments. I do not have the space to write out the verses, but I cite references for you to read in your own Bible:

Pro-abortion arguments– “I don’t want to be involved.”

** Women: I have never had an abortion. I am not pregnant now..

** Men: I have never caused a woman to have an unplanned pregnancy.

** Both men and women: Abortion isn’t my problem. It’s only a problem a pregnant woman must solve. It’s none of my business.

Bible’s guidelines– speak up for unborn babies, because they have no voice.

** Psalm 82:3-4: Defend the weak and the fatherless; maintain rights for the poor and oppressed; rescue the weak and the needy, delivering them from the hand of wicked persons.

** Proverbs 24:11-12: Rescue those being led to death and slaughter. If you claim ignorance of their deaths, God will know, and He will repay each person for what he or she has or has not done to help those in need..

** Proverbs 31:8-9: Speak for those who cannot speak for themselves; defend those who cannot defend themselves; plead the cause for those in need.

** Isaiah 5:20: Woe to those who call evil good, or good evil; and those who put darkness for light, or light for darkness.

** John 13:34: Jesus gave us a new commandment, that we love one another as He has loved us.

** John 8:12: Jesus is the Light of the world. AND Matthew 5:14: Jesus’ followers are lights of the world, dispelling the darkness of sin.

** Galatians 6:2: Bear each others’ burdens, thereby fulfilling the law of the Christ.

Pro-abortion argument– “Only I can decide what I do with my body.”

** I own my body. No man or government is entitled to tell me what I can or should do with my body.

Bible’s guidelines– you are God’s child; your body is His– His holy temple.

** Proverbs 14:12: Some ways that seem right to mankind end in death and are opposite to the LORD’s way of life.

** Psalm 24:1: The earth and all who dwell in it are the LORD’s.

** Psalm 100:3: Know that God has made us, and not we ourselves.

** 1 Corinthians 3:16-17: Each person is God’s temple, and God spirit lives in him or her. God’s temple (a person’s body) is sacred. If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him or her.

** 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: Each person’s body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives within it. No person is his or her own, but each person has been bought at a price (the sacrifice of Jesus). Therefore, every person should honor God with his or her body.

Pro-abortion argument– “It’s not a baby; it’s just cells or tissue.”

** The product growing in my womb is just a blob of cells or tissue. I can have an abortion because I am not destroying a human being. I know this because that’s what the doctor and nurse at the abortion clinic told me.* (*They told the woman after determining that she could pay cash in advance for the abortion.)

Bible’s guidelines– God has plans for us, even before we are born:

** Genesis 1:26-28; 2:7: Mankind, created by God in His image, is endowed with His eternal spirit.

** Exodus 21:22-23: Under God-given Mosaic law, a person who killed an unborn baby– even accidentally, while fighting– should be punished by death.

** Psalm 139:13-16: Every person is created by God, fearfully, marvelously, and wonderfully, and that person’s future is overseen by the eyes of God.

** Isaiah 42:5 and Acts 17:25: The life and breath of people come from God.

** Jeremiah 1:4-5: God called Jeremiah to be a prophet, even before his conception,

** Isaiah 49:1, 5: God called Isaiah to be a prophet, even before his birth.

** Genesis 25:22-23: God ordained nations to come from the unborn Jacob (the Jews) and Esau (the Edomites, Arabs), while they were still in Rebekah’s womb.

** Matthew 1:18, 22-23: God ordained the Messiah to come from the unborn Jesus, while He was still in Mary’s womb.

** Luke 1:36: God ordained that John the Baptizer would be conceived in Elizabeth’s womb,

Pro-abortion argument– A pregnancy resulting from rape or incest should be aborted.

** My pregnancy is a result of rape (or incest). God surely does not expect me, the victim, to give birth to a baby following such shameful, sinful behavior.

Bible’s guidelines– we cannot kill one person for another person’s sin:

** Ezekiel 18:20: The soul (the person) who sins is solely responsible for the sin. The son shall not be punished for the father’s sin.

** Genesis 50:20: God can use for good that which is meant for evil.

Pro-abortion argument– Abortion is a political issue, not a church (religious) matter.

** Abortion is a legal issue, an issue to be decided by the legislature and courts. Citizens and churches should not involve themselves in the political process. A church/ pastor should not get involved.

Bible’s guidelines– we are commanded to seek social justice for all persons and to right wrongs:

** Ephesians 6:12: We wrestle against our enemies, which are powers, governments, and authorities, against rulers of darkness and wickedness.

** Acts 5:29: We must obey God’s laws, rather than man’s laws.

** 1 Timothy 6:20-21: God’s ways are entrusted to His children. Rebuke godless chatter, false knowledge (false science), and those who have fallen from faith.

** Jude 1:3: Contend (fight) for the faith, that has been entrusted to the saints (to members of Christ’s church).

Pro-abortion argument– Giving birth to an unplanned baby is a burden.

** This isn’t a baby I’m carrying; it’s a burden. I need to… go to school, get ahead in my job, get out of debt, or ________ [fill in the blank] _______.

Bible’s guidelines– we should cherish life entrusted to us, even if inconvenient:

** Psalm 127:3: Children are a heritage and a reward from God.

** Acts 17:28: We are the offspring of God.

** 1 John 3:1-2: We are the children of God.

** Matthew 10:30: God loves us so much, that He knows even the minutest details of our lives.

Pro-abortion argument– As this fetus’ mother, I alone have the right to choose life or abortion.

** I am this fetus’ mother. I am the only person who can choose whether to carry or abort “it.”

Bible’s guidelines– God reserves the right to determine the end of life:

** Exodus 20:13: “You shall not murder.” [one of the Ten Commandments]

** Exodus 23:7: Do not put an innocent person to death, because God will not acquit the guilty.

** Psalm 31:15: A person’s time (life span) is in God’s hand.

** Proverbs 6:16-17: Of seven things God hates, one is hands that shed innocent blood.

** Job 12:10: In God’s hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

** Psalm 8:4-5: God is mindful of man, creating him only a little lower than the angels and crowning him with glory and honor.

** Psalm 71:18: God’s power extends to everyone who is to come (future generations).

NEXT WEEK’S NEWSLETTER. I will try to complete this series in one or two more newsletters. Abortion is an important topic, and much needs to be said. We Christians have:

** been too timid;

** have not championed the truth;

** have not pressured government officials to oppose abortion; and

** have not reached out in love to help frightened, hurting pregnant and post-abortive women.

Abortion is a challenge for Christians living in the last days. Without opposition, any evil practice will easily flourish. Stand up and speak out for things that are right! You are the voice for unborn babies who have no voice. You speak for Jesus in His absence.

I re-emphasize: If you are pregnant and considering an abortion, or if you grieve because of a past abortion, there are people in your community waiting to help you. God is always available to you through prayer. Don’t face this burden alone.
